1:1 Elementary iPads

We are so excited to continue to grow and learn during the 2024-2025 school year with one to one technology journey at South Adams Elementary for all K-5 students!  Students in grades K-5 will receive an iPad to use throughout the day.  These devices will be assigned to each individual student and will not be taken home (with the exception of 5th grade iPads traveling home each day). 

This technology will be used to enhance our current curriculum and engage students in their daily learning.  This technology will not replace textbooks as we have adopted a new reading series that will put quality books in the hands of students each day.  As we continue this journey, we will explore ways to utilize this technology that we are so fortunate to have!

We look forward to sharing this journey with you as parents and with our students to discover new ways that technology can enhance our already strong curriculum.  These iPads are a valuable resource in the classroom but will not replace the excellent direct instruction that occurs in our classrooms each day!

This year South Adams Schools will provide the iPad Maintenance Repair program for ALL students.  This fee will cover a one-time damage to your child’s iPad that may occur during the 2024-2025 school year.  Please read the Maintenace Repair agreement below for more information.
